Count Your Blessings.

Sometimes when we are in pain
We lie abed and frown.
We think that life is very bad
But no! just look around.

There are children who are vegetables
And people who are blind,
They never see the sunshine
Yet do not seem to mind.

There are others who know they must die
And some who wish they would.
There are babies `though bewildered
Who just lie there and be good.

There are starving kids the world o`er
Men dying in needless war
Children killing children
Not knowing what life`s for.

So `though your pain is very bad
And life seems not worthwhile
Remember all the sadder ones
Then turn around and smile.
